Condensate & NGLs
NGLs in general and condensate in particular have been areas of specialization for APEC, with detailed data available for condensate supply, demand and trade from the mid-1990s. We examine LPG production derived both from field and refinery operations as well as demand for this product. Uniquely, APEC analyzes the relationship between accelerating gas development in both Asia Pacific and the Middle East Gulf and possesses field-by-field condensate output for all major country/markets. The impact of gas projects on products supply is far less known than its demand impacts and APEC attempts to explore the full implications of NGLs on the oil sector.
APEC reviews condensate supply, demand, trade, markets and trends in a bi-annual review. The most recent report, released in September 2007, “Condensate East of Suez: NGL and its Naphtha Impacts in Asia Pacific & the Mideast Gulf”, was published in conjunction with Oil & Gas Journal.
