Product Quality
APEC’s refined product database on quality includes complete product specification 2003-2007 and forecasts quality standards through 2012. Specifications, both primary and secondary, cover all Asia Pacific and the Middle East Gulf, detailing by product and country standards for all major products. Particular emphasis has been placed on gasoline, gas oil/diesel and fuel oil, where specifications are changing most rapidly. International quality standards for LPG, naphtha and aviation fuel and ship’s bunker are also detailed. We believe quality will be a major driver in products pricing through the coming decade.
